Great! I’ve finally caught up with blogging!

For the entire month of July I had only gone for one session, and I’m kicking myself over it but personal reasons and my schedule didn’t permit me to.

As with every session, I go in with fear because I fear the pain. I used to have a higher threshold for pain but I think I’ve turned more ‘chickened’ as the years go by.

So earlier on today I was doing live blogging from EHA Clinic, and after having Emla (the numbing cream/dermal anaesthetic) on for over 40 minutes, I still twitched when the lasers were fired along my spine.

We had a few areas done today, the tiger, a skull on my left hip, a skull on my vessel on my left bicep (yes I don’t like skulls anymore), my right bicep, entire right forearm and right index finger. I had developed a blister 2 weeks ago on my left hand, so we couldn’t laser that today.

Like, everywhere...

I got to choose where to begin first and of course I’d pick the smaller areas first. But when it got to the right index, I heard a different tone of ‘PIAK’ as compared to the usual ‘piaks’ from the laser. I asked Dr Tam if something exploded, and well yeah! It didn’t hurt but Mt Merapi erupted:

Lovely.... You're gonna go, treble clef!

In case anyone freaks out, this is normal and different people have different skin, and because my tattoos have gone lighter, the lasers are going deeper to break the ink pigments.

As you might have already know, my eyes are concealed throughout the sessions. After the right arm was done and the tiger finished, I had my protective eyewear removed and WOW, the portrait on my left forearm had a significant lightening!

Forearm - 1st Session

This is actually my most, most, most favourite tattoo of a water dam and the location written in latitude and longitude (way before Angelina had hers). I dig Geography.

I am looking forward to my next appointment in a fortnight, and we will run through areas we did the previous time – the lower back and shoulders and neck!

Many thanks to Dr Elias Tam for the professionalism and care and I highly reccommend you to make a trip down to EHA Clinic or EHA Skincare for all your aesthetic and skin care needs. It’s good to practise caring for your skin.

Thank you all for your well wishes and prayers that I’ve received in messages and emails from the general public and friends as well. God bless you too :)
